The new earbuds have surfaced through leaked graphics that reveal a distinctive clip-on design along with several smart features. The design could give Samsung a new option for consumers who prefer earbuds that sit differently from traditional in-ear wireless models.
The device was initially spotted in April under a different name. At the time, reports identified the product as the Galaxy Buds Able and associated it with the unusual model number SM-U600.
The model number immediately attracted attention because Samsung generally uses the SM-R series for its Galaxy Buds products. The different numbering convention suggested that the device could represent a new category within Samsung’s audio portfolio.
More recent design vectors shared by SammyGuru reportedly point to a change in the product’s branding. Instead of Galaxy Buds Able, the earbuds are now expected to be marketed as the Galaxy Buds On.
The leaked visuals provide an early look at the product’s overall design and suggest that Samsung is exploring a form factor that differs significantly from its conventional Galaxy Buds lineup.
