Zong Expands Digital Education Initiatives Through Knowledge Platform Partnership

Zong, Pakistan’s leading telecommunications and technology company, has reaffirmed its commitment to digital education and innovation by extending its partnership with Knowledge Platform. The collaboration, now in its fourth year, was formalized during a signing ceremony at Zong’s headquarters, marking a continued push toward bridging the educational divide in Pakistan.

Through this partnership, Zong’s Digital Scholars Program—its flagship initiative—is scaling rapidly, bringing technology-enabled learning to underserved communities. The program focuses on Grades 9 and 10 and leverages interactive digital classrooms, gamified learning content, AI-driven analytics, and structured online modules. These tools allow personalized instruction, real-time progress tracking, and enhanced engagement for students and teachers alike.

By the end of 2025, the Digital Scholars Program had already achieved significant milestones. Over 35,000 students enrolled, while 5,000 young women participated in digital literacy and financial skills-building programs through gamified learning experiences. Additionally, 7,500 students were certified in core subjects such as Math, English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and General Science.

The initiative reaches students across 300 schools in 42 cities spanning all five provinces of Pakistan, offering two core learning streams: an online Math Tutoring Program and a comprehensive Self-Study Program in English and Science. The initiative also features Sitarey: Digital Learning Games and Competitions, which encourage interactive, skills-based learning.

Zong has trained 150 teachers as part of the program, empowering them to integrate technology into classrooms effectively. This blended learning approach not only improves student participation but also enhances analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and overall learning outcomes.

Commenting on the initiative, Andleeb Aslam, Zong spokesperson, said: “Sustainability at Zong means fostering long-term social and economic development through technology. The Digital Scholars Program strengthens education, equips students and educators with future-ready skills, and creates scalable, lasting impact across Pakistan.”

The partnership highlights Zong’s pivotal role in transforming Pakistan’s digital learning landscape, expanding access to quality education, and equipping students and educators with tools that go beyond traditional classrooms. By leveraging strategic collaborations and innovative technology, Zong aims to empower the next generation and support the nation’s broader development goals.
