22nd Health Asia Expo to Showcase Global Healthcare Innovation in Karachi This October

The 22nd Health Asia International Exhibition, being organized in partnership with the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), will take place from October 23 to 25, 2025 at the Karachi Expo Center. The large-scale event aims to connect healthcare investors, policymakers, manufacturers, and technology providers from around the world under one platform.

The exhibition is being jointly organized by E-Commerce Gateway Pakistan and the Ministry of Health. According to the organizers, delegations from at least 24 countries — including China, Russia, Iran, the United Kingdom, Turkey and Hungary — are expected to participate.

The three-day event is projected to generate a business volume of nearly US$150 million through trade deals, technology partnerships and investment commitments in Pakistan’s growing healthcare market.

The major focus of this year’s expo will be the digital transformation of healthcare in Pakistan. Special conferences titled “Future Hospitals and Healthcare” and “Digital Health” will highlight how cutting-edge medical technologies, telemedicine, and AI-driven diagnostic solutions can help reduce the burden on hospitals and improve patient outcomes.

Event Director Farhan Anis said the platform will help local healthcare providers adopt modern solutions and build capacity across hospitals and clinics nationwide. He added that the Health Asia Expo will encourage public and private stakeholders to collaborate on medical innovation and technology-driven infrastructure.

Industry experts believe that the exhibition will play an important role in strengthening Pakistan’s healthcare ecosystem by connecting global health-tech leaders with local institutions and investors. With the support of SIFC, the event is also expected to attract foreign direct investment into Pakistan’s medical manufacturing, hospital infrastructure, and pharmaceutical supply chain.

Organizers noted that the use of modern diagnostic tools, digitally integrated hospital systems, and technology-enabled patient care showcased at the expo would help raise standards across the sector.

The Health Asia Expo has previously served as a launchpad for healthcare partnerships and technology transfers. This year’s edition is being described as a major milestone for the development of Pakistan’s health sector, especially as the country pushes forward with reforms aimed at expanding digital health access nationwide.
